Aparna Palm Meadows
Putting nature centre stage
Aparna Palm Meadows was envisioned as a green sanctuary, drawing inspiration from luxurious upscale resorts. The intention was to utilise the 16-acre central park as an oasis of leisure and an ecological counterbalance to the urban structures around it. The goals of this project were:
- To enhance the physical and psychological well-being of the community.
- To use landscape elements, geometry and flora as focal points.
- To highlight the connection between built environments and the natural world.
This started right from the entrance plaza, which was highlighted by grand stone columns and the project’s signature palms, with the elevated road blending into the serene park below through terraced water features.
The circulation design within Palm Meadows emphasises safety, comfort, and aesthetics, through its lush green surroundings. Its wide roads are flanked by towering trees, and have separate walkways, and true to its name, each road intersection is graced by palms, underlining the project's holistic vision.
The beauty of the space is enhanced by tranquil water bodies, elegant pergolas, thoughtfully placed street furniture and signages throughout the green space. Its centerpiece is the lake crafted for stormwater collection that also serves as a picturesque gathering spot.
