An elegant and diverse landscape
This project placed a huge emphasis on connectivity and interaction with nature. We aimed to redefine traditional landscape patterns through elegant and diverse angular lines, seamlessly integrating various spatial programs to enhance the natural experience for visitors. By utilising diagonal pathways to stitch the space together, the design achieves a remarkable sense of openness and interaction, ensuring a serene and inviting environment.
The landscape approach for Aparna Serenity was meticulously planned to re-establish serenity through nature-interactive landscapes. The key to this project was its innovative use of space, vertical separations, and minimal elevation changes, which expanded the site's capacity while maintaining a strong connection with nature.
A water body near the main entrance set the tone for serenity and elegance, while a pergola and sculptures in the central lawn added elements of relaxation, reflection and community spaces. The materials used were a study in contrasts; black granite finishes, grey pavers, wooden decks, and foam concrete were chosen for their aesthetic appeal and durability, while the softscape theme incorporated a variety of plant species chosen for their beauty and compatibility with the local climate.
